I expanded this comic after it was published in the New Yorker, and adapted it into the format of a box of Tarot card Affirmations, where every comic panel became a tarot card asking a question, with an answer provided at the back. This comic was inspired by all the things I wish someone had said to me while I lived in New York City. You can shuffle the cards and change the sequence of events to read the story in any order.
